Tim David is a Singapore born Australia right hand power hitter playing for Sharjah Warriorz in ILT20 2026. Born in Singapore on 16 March 1996 and raised in Western Australia, David began his international career representing Singapore at the 2019 T20 World Cup qualifier before switching allegiance to Australia. He has established himself as one of the most destructive middle and lower order T20 batters in world cricket, with a career T20 strike rate exceeding 168 across 71 matches. His ability to hit sixes at will and score rapidly in the final overs has made him one of the most sought-after players in global franchise T20 cricket, with stints in the IPL for Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bengaluru adding to his franchise pedigree.
Playing Style
Tim David bats right handed and specialises in explosive middle and lower order hitting. He is particularly dangerous against both pace and spin in the final overs of a T20 innings, combining clean ball striking with the ability to hit sixes to all parts of the ground. With 101 T20 sixes across his career and a century for Australia against West Indies, David is at his best when chasing targets or accelerating in the back half of an innings. He can also contribute with right arm off break bowling when required.
